A DESIGN FOR LIFE
We call this our time machine because, in town, the SH125i makes time. Its elegant form is compact – perfect for riding around busy streets and easy parking. It has the stability of 16-inch wheels front and rear, plus the comfort of a flat floor with plenty of under seat storage and low, 799mm seat height. And you’re riding with the optimum performance and fuel efficiency of the HSTC-equipped, 4V eSP+ engine. Where you want to be is where you need to be so take back time. Ride SH125i.
A HISTORY OF SUCCESS
Since 2001 the SH125i has been the urban scooter to own, with the entire SH family selling over one million around Europe since the very first – the SH50 – back in 1984. The first laid down the blueprint for success: a fuel-efficient but lively engine tied to nimble, sure-footed handling underpinned by the stability that large diameter wheels deliver.
Elegant sporting style slips perfectly around town and while compact the SH125i holds plenty of convenient features, like the ease of a flat floor and USB charging socket. A comfortable, upright riding position gives great visibility. Built lightweight yet tough – at Honda’s Atessa manufacturing base in Italy – the SH125i is always ready to travel. That’s its job and has been for over 20 years.
SH125i Vetro
The SH125i is the first Honda scooter with EURO5+ approval – it is cleaner and quieter for the long run. And, going one step further for the environment, the SH125i Vetro is unique within the SH family. Vetro is Italian for glass and the brainchild – and tribute to the technical skills – of the workforce at Honda’s factory in Atessa, Italy. It comes from their heart, for the future.
A Clear Advantage:
The SH125i Vetro features distinctive semi-transparent unpainted green fairing panels.
Less CO2:
The processes around the use of these panels at the factory reduce CO2 emissions by 9.5 per cent compared with the manufacturing processes for standard painted fairings.
Standout details:
A black front mudguard is matched by black lower fairing, with bold white Honda lower logos and neat silver SH logo on the upper fairing.
Clear LCD Screen
The LCD display presents all warning lights – including Smart Key, HSTC/ABS and Idling Stop operation – around a central digital speedo display. And switching functions is a simple press of a button.
Efficient four-stroke 4V eSP+ powerplant
The liquid-cooled engine serves up crisp acceleration plus useful cruising speed. It features Honda selectable torque control (HSTC) to manage rear wheel traction and returns an impressive 44.6km/l
Confident Cornering
The high-tensile tubular underbone frame is lightweight, built to last and - alongside smooth rolling large diameter wheels - core to the SH125i's excellent handling.
Supple rear suspension
Dual rear shocks feature 5-step spring preload adjustment; for comfortable ride the engine hanger link angle and rear suspension angle are optimised for supple bump-absorption and control.
Stylish full LED lighting
The super sleek fairing-mounted headlight features a central main beam splitting dual dip beams, while position lights sit above the handlebar. The rear light matches the front in a chrome surround.
Plenty of room
There's a total 28L under-seat storage, so you can easily tuck away a full-face helmet when you don't want to carry it - and a whole lot of everything else. large and small.
