PHILIP YOULES MANAGING DIRECTOR
Philip started Youles motorcycles in 1985. His first bike was a Honda SS50 and he passed his test on a YB100. Philip can ride anything from a unicycle to a supercharged Rocket 3. His most terrifying moment was a flight in a Jet Provost fighter trainer. He enjoys the banter with both customers and trade.
LOUISE YOULES FINANCE DIRECTOR
Louise joined Youles Motorcycles in 2001 having previously worked at Lancashire County Coucil in the Treasurers Department. When she met Philip she had a Saturday job delivering cakes. Louise recons her fast driving did result in a few damaged cakes, however these ended up as damage in transit. We recon it was more a case of ate in transit!
ROBERT MURPHY – GENERAL MANAGER
Robert joined our Blackburn sales team in 2008 from a retail management position, he then moved over to our Manchester branch in 2012. He rides to work most day,s usually on a Bonneville T120, fighting his way through Manchester's rush hour traffic. "In Manchester, bikes are the only way to travel!"
JAMES HALLAM – SALES EXECUTIVE
James joined our team in 2012 – he is a keen Moto GP enthusiast and a self-confessed arm-chair Manchester City supporter. With a second child on
the, he's "definitely a family man!"
DAVID EDWELL - SALES EXECUTIVE
David has just joined our Manchester sales team. In previous lives he has been a driving instructor, worked for the Environment Agency in North Wales, and worked in mobile telecoms in the days when people just used phones for talking! Outside of work he keeps bees and attends motorcycle rallies - there's always a buzz in his life. He much prefers riding to work than driving - you cant beat starting and ending the day on a bike!
WILL - AFTER SALES MANAGER
Will Started at our Blackburn showroom in April 2014 and now heads up our fantastic after sales dept at Manchester with the help of his team.
He lives and breathes two wheels. He commutes on his bike every day through the wind and rain, come rain or shine.
VANESSA - AFTER SALES EXECUTIVE
Vanessa joined our team in May 2015, having previously worked in legal translations. She used to ride abroad a Piaggio scooter 125cc to commute and filter through traffic, and currently, she has a customized old tracker 250cc. In 2016 she enjoyed a 4000 mile trip with her fiancé through France and Spain as a pillion on his touring motorcycle. They now enjoy a Tiger Explorer XRT and hope to make a long trip again next year.
SAM - AFTER SALES EXECUTIVE
Sam joined the team in June 2017 and currently rides an MT07. When he's not at work he likes spending time with his wife and kids, and watching Manchester City with his season ticket.Details to follow
MIKE – WORKSHOP MANAGER
Mike started with us in 2014. He is very interested in working on race bikes and loves watching road racing and Moto GP. He is also an avid bookworm!
HAYDN - SALES EXECUTIVE
Haydn started out in the workshop and now after over five years on the tools he has now found his way into the warmth of the showroom. Always happy to help with your questions and not shy to get hands on where needed. Hobbies include working on his own bikes and drinking beer, however not usually at the same time! He will always make you feel welcome, so feel free to come in and chat bikes over a coffee.
DOUG – TECHNICIAN
When he's not at work, Doug loves fiddling with his bikes, playing the guitar, collecting vinyl records, and has a keen interest in growing chilies! When he's at work he doesn't have a favorite type of bike to work on as "they all look the same when you've been a technician this long!"
LEE – TECHNICIAN
Lee is one of our Technicians, he started his time with us at at our Blackburn showroom and has now moved over to Manchester. Lee is a Guinness world wheelie competitor and is generally mad about all things bike. He recently became a Dad to his lovely daughter Violet.
OWEN OSBORN – APPRENTICE TECHNICIAN
This is Owen our new apprentice. Owen has just started with us on Triumph's apprentice program. He is into kick boxing and holds a black belt and also got bronze medal at the 2016 world championship. He has brought a Honda NSR125 back to life and now rides it for his daily transport. He also is a mad dog lover and has a King Charles Spaniel call Zuki.
BEN OAKLEY - AFTER SALES
I have been riding for 3 years now and recently done my A2 test i cant wait to get my first big bike and really begin my journey into motorcycling, I currently commute on my 125 everyday and wouldn't change it for anything. I like helping customers and can't wait to progress further into the business.
TONY - VALETER / VAN DRIVER
Tony is big into bikes, he rides to work every day on his. He is a massive dog lover and loves to be out with his dogs for a walk. He usually takes a big Europe trip on his bike in the summer and is a massive foody.
