JOB TITLE: SALES PERSON

RESPONSIBLE TO: STORE MANAGER

DUTIES

The successful applicant is expected to be a good communicator and have sales experience not necessarily within the motor trade. A polite and helpful manner together with a keen interest in motorcycles is essential. You will be responsible for increasing the sales of Triumph, Piaggio, Gilera, Vespa, and late used bikes. This exciting position will require an understanding of finance, insurance, licensing laws and the motorcycle/scooter market. You will also be required to project the company’s values on customer service and above all be honest and extremely self motivated.

Your job location will be at our Manchester premises located near to the city Centre on Bury New Rd. Weekend work will be required - this is on a rotating system. Some weekends you will work Saturday only others Sunday only and one weekend Saturday and Sunday.

Hours of business are weekdays 9.30hrs to 18.00hrs, Saturdays 8.30hrs to 17.00hrs and Sundays 10.30hrs to 16.30hrs. Holiday entitlement will be 20 days plus bank holidays.

Your remuneration will be a basic salary of £18500 plus commission on sales. You should have OTE of £34000. There will also be the statutory bank holidays and 20 days annual leave. A generous staff purchase scheme exists that enables parts clothing and new motorcycles to be purchased at trade or below prices. The company also contributes to a stake holder pension scheme with extra payments for long service.
