Manchester Bike Show 2018 - Team Youles and Triumph Motorcyles
Well what a weekend. The Manchester Bike Show was back for its 7th year bigger and definitely better than ever and boy did we have fun! Together with the Official Triumph show truck we had 20 show and demo bikes on the stand, just waiting to be sat on and photographed.
Saturday AM – the calm before the storm
Jason was very excited, as we can see
We arrived before 9am for a half 9 start and people were already queuing ready and raring to get inside! The hall soon started to fill, and as we were right by the front door we were hit first and they didn’t stop coming all day!
The first ever customer on the all new 2018 Speed Triple RS!
Luckily we were each able to have a walk around the show, and we weren’t disappointed! Our friends at the Triumph Owners MCC, Manchester, put on a great display using one of our T120’s to complete a “Bonneville through the Years” display
The only shot of the day when people weren’t around the stall
It wasn’t all classics!
The show brought together a variety of different clubs and associations. From N.A.B.D. to the Blood Bikers, there was a group for every type of rider there
The National Association for Bikers with a Disability (NABD) facilitate incredible mods for bikes & trikes to keep everyone riding
The Blood Bikes Manchester team need little introduction – a great group of volunteers providing a life saving service
When people say they want an adventure bike, we’re not sure this is what they mean! C90Adventures
Again, not quite the adventure bike one would expect! Notes from the Road
As well as seeing a number of personal Triumphs on show around the various groups, the highlight for a few of us was the sheer amount of classics on show, too. From Autocycles to Police Bikes, the variety could not be denied!
What’s the official name for a collection of Bowns? A gaggle? A party? NACC
A slightly better looking C90 NACC
I’m sure a few of these have passed through Youles’ over the years!
GMP even got in on the Classics action!
Classic BSA Post Office Bantam – A unique find! NACC
So all in all, a fantastic show was had.
Team Saturday! They didn’t look so fresh faced by half 5, and Team Sunday didn’t want show what loosing an hour of sleep did to them!
See you next year, Manchester!
