Triumph introduce 2010 Rocket III Roadster

Higher spec and lower cost for world’s largest capacity motorcycle.

Legendary British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph is introducing the most powerful version yet of its 2.3 litre Rocket III, the Rocket III Roadster.

The Rocket III Roadster moves out of pure cruiser territory into the ultimate muscle streetfighter category, bringing the biggest torque found on any production
motorcycle.

Coming in two mean and moody black colour options, metallic Phantom Black or an aggressive Matt Black alternative, the Rocket III Roadster is powered by an updated version of Triumph’s iconic three-cylinder 2,294cc powerplant. Maximum power has increased over the outgoing Rocket III, with torque up 15%, to a mighty 221Nm.

Triumph’s sophisticated anti-lock braking system is fitted as standard to the Rocket III Roadster, which is the first time that an ABS system has been specified to the Rocket III platform. The bike has received extensive ergonomic and quality improvements over the previous model.

New ergonomics provide the Rocket III Roadster with a completely different riding experience from its predecessors. The footrests are now further back, lower down and more inboard, creating a more comfortable riding position, which non-cruiser riders will feel at home with. The plush new seat positions the rider higher and further forward than before, giving a relaxed and natural leg position while reducing the reach to the handlebars. The result is a Rocket that is easier to steer through corners than previous incarnations. New rear suspension units have been designed to offer a more controlled ride than before, while the main components are blacked out to reinforce the Rocket III’s aggressive image.

All modifications have been designed to release more power and torque and optimise the aural experience while creating a more balanced appearance. The Triumph Rocket III Roadster has been competitively priced at £10,949 making ownership more affordable than ever, and will be available at official Triumph dealerships from early 2010. The long-haul Rocket III Touring continues alongside the Rocket III Roadster, priced from £12,999 otr. for further details or to pre order yours ring our dedicated sales staff on 01254277148

THE FIRST EVER SCOOTER ABOVE 125CC THAT CAN BE LEGALLY RIDDEN WITH A NORMAL CAR LICENSE

Introducing the MP3 LT 400cc

THE FIRST EVER SCOOTER ABOVE 125cc THAT CAN BE LEGALLY RIDDEN WITH A NORMAL CAR LICENSE!

the new mp3 trike

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Piaggio MP3 LT 400cc - the first  ever  scooter  above  125cc  that can be legally ridden with a normal car license!

Thanks  to  its  wider  front  tread, the  MP3  LT  will  be  registered  as  a “Trike”  and  can  be  driven  by  riders owning  a  simple  Class  B1  car driving license.

The MP3 LT 400cc is the ideal solution for all those who have thought about purchasing  a  scooter  for  their  urban transport  needs  but  are  hindered by  the  fact  that  they  do  not  hold  a motorcycle  license  or  CBT.
It is also aiming to all those who currently ride scooters  up  to  125cc  but  would  like to have the advantages of a higher cc scooter without going through the full motorcycle test training.

The design is the same as per new MP3:
New front grille
New  finishes
Azure headlamp and windshield
New passenger backrest
Trike homologation features:
Wider front tread: from 420 to 465mm
Specific front and rear indicators •
Specifi c front light under the grille •
Specifi c license plate holder
14” 140/60 rear wheel
Combined brake system ( through the right pedal) guaranteeing shorter stopping distances 20% shorter than conventional scootersDue to the MP3 LT being classed as a “trike” there is no legal requirement to wear a crash helmet. As a responsible manufacturer we will advocate and encourage riders of the MP3 LT to wear crash helmets at all times.PRICE AND COLOURS
The Piaggio MP3 LT is available now
in either Grigio Orione (Grey) or Blue Midnight and is priced at £6,499 (excluding OTR). The MP3 LT will include two years warranty and is inclusive of 1-year roadside assistance as standard.
As Piaggio are committed to promoting rider safety, a CBT course is incorporated into the price of the Piaggio MP3 LT with the desire to encourage all customers to complete a one day training course in order to gain riding confidence and act responsibly on the roads.
